I would like to ask fellow sailors: what does the set temperature of 46° on the nameplate mean? What are the functions of the adjustment modes auto, cold, and manual? Under what circumstances should it be adjusted? How exactly is the adjustment carried out? No instructions

My previous devices also had such temperature control valves, and the set values for these valves were usually predetermined at the time of manufacture.
I’ve never seen a temperature control valve with such an adjustment mechanism; usually, it’s preset at the time of manufacturing.
The 46℃ mentioned above refers to the set value of the temperature control valve.
Current temperature control valves cannot adjust the temperature; this is determined by their structural design, as they are driven by a oil temperature sensor, and the temperature is set at the time of manufacturing.
