After two months of hard work, the major repairs on the two GEA refrigeration units located 1500 meters underground have been completed: the compressors were repaired, the explosion-proof PLC control system was replaced, all explosion-proof sensors and solenoid valves were replaced, and the compressors are now operational. The refrigeration units from German company GEA, each costing 11 million yuan, were located in mines 1,500 meters underground and remained submerged in water for 6 months. 90% of the repair parts are imported by our company from Germany and the United States. The water in the mine is alkaline, causing severe corrosion of the machinery. It took two pumps, each with a capacity of 4000 KW, to pump out all the water from the mine over a period of one and a half months. The design pressure for the condenser and oil-cooled tube side is 16 MPa. It is fully certified for coal mining use and is explosion-proof. To seal the leaks underground, the client spent a total of 2 months injecting 40,000 tons of grout (concrete) into the well.
