My unit has a reciprocating compressor, 425r/min, 5-stage compression. The piston rod settlement value of stage 1 fluctuates periodically. The reason is puzzling. I want to see if any of you heroes can explain the reason. (The red one is the settlement value of level 1, and the blue one is the settlement value of level 3 piston rod. There was a period of time in the middle when the wiring of level 1 and level 3 was changed on site, and the fluctuation remained. The problem of the instrument in front of the wiring can be eliminated)
I haven't seen what the equipment looks like, so I guess there is something wrong with the bearings. For reference.
Is there something like an iron pin on the circumference, or is the probe loose and fluctuating periodically?; The settlement of the piston rod is originally measured as a gap
This post was last edited by superblade on 2020-3-21 08:26. It is an ordinary opposed-balanced reciprocating compressor. The bearing has Bently3500 status monitoring, and there is no abnormality.
I have also suspected it, but this fluctuation period is very strange, and it seems to have nothing to do with the speed, 1x frequency, 2x frequency... and it is very regular, so it doesn't seem like a certain component is loose.
1. The cylinder is worn, measure it and look at the data. 2. When it is time to replace the cylinder liner, the piston rings and guide rings will often be damaged.
Check the sinking probe first, then check the crosshead connecting rod and eliminate them one by one.
I don’t know what the test item is, usually it is the measurement of temperature. However, this kind of phenomenon will not cause the temperature to rise. You can disassemble the baffle and roughly measure the bearing clearance and looseness of the connecting parts. I’m not sure what the “piston rod settlement value” refers to, please clarify.
Look at the high and low peaks of the graph for 10 minutes and consider a software failure or a failure in the receiving system.
First of all, you changed the wiring from the scene. Didn't you specify where the wiring was changed from the scene? You can completely replace a Bertley probe and test it again to completely rule out the possibility of the instrument. You just changed the wiring, so you cannot completely rule out the possibility of instrument failure until you replace the probe. Secondly, take a look at your axle temperature. Generally, if it really sinks, the axle temperature will fluctuate. Finally, I wish you an early resolution of the problem and smooth operation.
