This is a self-inspection item carried out by the manufacturer; once it is released onto the market, you should use it in accordance with the purchasing specifications. The manufacturer is responsible if there are problems. The key is for the contract to be clear. Pumps that are commonly used typically have high production volumes, and the data in the production tables is fixed, so the errors are not very large. If precision is required, consultations can be held in advance. Oh, for devices designed specifically for you, if necessary, they will ask you to attend the testing and certification in person.
The design institute reminds you that different standards have varying requirements. API610 requires that hydrostatic tests, performance tests (flow rate, head, temperature rise), and other such tests must be carried out. However, tests such as cavitation testing and mechanical operation tests are not mandatory.
It depends on the strength of the enterprise, but many small manufacturers do not have the capability for testing. However, manufacturers generally use testing platforms to check whether the performance parameters are normal.
