Can a hole of size 100 and a shaft of size 100 fit together and move axially relative to each other? It can still move axially under certain conditions
For a hole of size 100 and a shaft of size 100, there are three types of fits: 1. Clearance fit – allows axial movement; 2. Transition fit – may allow axial movement; 3. Interference fit – does not allow axial movement. Of course, this is under the condition that the axial force remains constant
