Due to medium-related issues, our company has chosen 26# white oil for the cooling and lubrication of bearings and internal magnets. However, we have recently observed a higher frequency of bearing damage. We would like to ask whether white oil can be used as a lubricant under conditions of around 80°C and 730 revolutions per minute Will carbonization and other such issues occur?

The lubrication system of the equipment should be isolated from the medium used, and the equipment has certain requirements regarding lubricants. Do you have sufficient grounds for using your own medium as a lubricant? Based on your parameters, you should use low-velocity lubricating oil. White oils are generally quite light in texture and have low viscosity; they are unable to form a protective lubricating layer in the lubrication areas of equipment. Therefore, even though they do provide some level of lubrication, it is not sufficient overall!
