Dear all: I have here a ball bearing for a high-voltage motor shaft; it was removed due to high temperatures. What I don’t understand is how the wear marks indicated in red on the bearing diagram were formed According to the mechanism, the wear caused by the back-and-forth movement of the motor rotor should occur on the convex surfaces on both sides of the bearing shells; so why does it happen inside?
The center of the rotor and the center of the bearing may not be aligned, with a slight deviation.
The question is where that mark came from
There is an explanation on the motor nameplate. Axial movement is possible.
Judging from the device’s structure, the marked area is a gap; it wasn’t caused by wear, but rather likely resulted from the processing process.
As can be seen from the diagram, this is not caused by the operation of the equipment; it occurs when the molding tool is aligned while the disc is being turned. After all, how could such a phenomenon occur if the equipment isn’t even in contact with it? For your reference.

It is recommended to drain and clean the fuel tank, as well as replace the fuel filter elements. What are the other reasons for the temperature increase? Have you checked whether the surface of the thrust bearing is damaged? Is it related to the level of the motor? For reference.
