I would like to ask: Are the structural dimensions of mechanical seals of type 204 different among various manufacturers, or is there a unified standard? I checked the manufacturer’s samples, but they did not provide detailed dimensions for these mechanical seals. So how should one determine the position when designing the frame base that connects to the mechanical seal? I would appreciate your guidance. Thank you!
Generally, machine seal manufacturers produce machine seals by referring to the seal dimensions provided by pump manufacturers. The seal types, sizes, and shaft sleeves vary among different manufacturers
Just determine the installation position of the static ring
204 should be the standard version; the dimensions shouldn’t be changed. If they are changed, it shouldn’t still be called the 204 series
204 can indicate the structure as well as the shaft diameter; it is necessary to clarify this clearly
