With the development of industry, the degree of integration in piping systems is increasing, which creates more opportunities for the use of multi-port ball valves. Today, I’d like to share with you the flow directions of the Wutong ball valves, and show you in what situations these flow directions are used. Perhaps one of them is exactly what you need or are already using. I. For the flow direction of the five-way ball valve in the VL direction, this type of valve allows for one inlet and one outlet, with four operating positions: 0°, 90°, 180°, and 270°. If a 45° shut-off function is required, then the entire valve body as well as the steel ball of the five-way ball valve need to be enlarged ； II. VT flow direction of the five-way ball valve: The VT flow direction five-way ball valve features one inlet and two outlets, or two inlets and one outlet, and can achieve 0° and 90° operating positions; if 45° shutdown is required, the valve body and the steel ball need to be enlarged ； III. Flow direction of the 5-way ball valve: The LL flow direction version of this valve also allows for one inlet and two outlets, or two inlets and one outlet; it can be adjusted to four different positions: 0°, 90°, 180°, and 270° ； IV. Flow direction of the five-way ball valve: The TT flow direction version of this valve allows for one inlet and three outlets, or three inlets and one outlet; it can operate in four positions: 0°, 90°, 180°, and 270° ； V. The LL1 flow direction of the five-way ball valve: This type of five-way ball valve enables two inputs and two outputs, with four operating positions of 0°, 90°, 180°, and 270°. Many customers have inquired about this flow direction, and it has now been developed. VI. The flow direction of the 5-way ball valve – LL2 flow: This flow direction also features two inlets and two outlets, and it is primarily used for filtration, forward flushing, and backwashing in water treatment. The flow directions of the five-type ball valves introduced today are roughly the ones mentioned above. The design of multi-channel ball valves is aimed at serving production practices.
