The housing is integral, not split. The gear ratio bearing hole must be larger
It can be taken apart by first removing the radial bearings, and then taking out the gears
No way, otherwise how would it get inside?
It’s a gearbox, right? First, remove the bearings on both sides, then knock the shaft out from inside the gears
Make a jig to lay the gearbox flat, determine the correct orientation, then use a jack to lift the shaft in order to press the gears down
In this type of reduction gearbox, the gears and the shaft are separate; the gear is installed first, then the shaft, and finally the bearings. For workwear, simply press the end with the shaft shoulder axially
