Friends, in the category of chains, how are equipment chains distinguished from process chains?
Equipment interlocking is the failover between backup devices. Process interlock ensures that when a single unit or a backup device cannot be started, other devices are interlocked to shut down or enter self-circulation mode.
For example, in the case of a large compressor, if pressure relief is required due to problems in the production process at the back end, the solenoid valve of the compressor’s pressure relief valve will open fully. This type of chain should be a “process chain”. If the main unit loses power as a result of a fault in the compressor’s own oil supply system, this is referred to as \"equipment interlock.\" Personal opinions are for reference only; it would be great if relevant definitions could be shared.
