Dear sea friends. The ball screw pair used in the company’s assembly equipment is damaged. Upon disassembly, it was found that both the screw and the nut’s raceways were worn, and the balls were severely damaged. New spare parts will take two months to be delivered, and production deadlines are tight. After contacting the supplier, it was stated that the original manufacturer of these components, i.e., the company that manufactures the screw pairs, will no longer cooperate, so an entire set of equipment needs to be replaced. The delivery time is long and the cost is relatively high. We found markings on the screw nut, but were unable to locate the manufacturer. If any sailors know about this, please reply to me. It’s a standard component; there should be many companies capable of manufacturing it
