In our factory, after replacing the sealing O-ring on the oil pressure control valve of the gear pump in a nitrogen membrane press, the machine started up with an alarm indicating low oil pressure; the pressure gauge for the gear pump also showed no pressure. What is the problem here? Adjusting the control valve didn’t help either (the machine stopped operating due to the low oil pressure alarm); we tried setting the valve to its maximum and minimum positions, but the pressure gauge still showed no pressure
This adjustment should be made based on the pressure value used when the device is operating normally. Also, before the equipment is started, in order to ensure that the oil system is properly filled with oil, methods such as turning the shaft by hand or starting an auxiliary pump are employed to prevent a sudden drop in oil pressure during startup; this is provided for reference.
