Judging solely from their appearance and model numbers, horizontal spiral screen filtration centrifuges from different manufacturers differ only slightly from one another. To achieve better processing results for the materials, we have made significant improvements to the manufacturing process of horizontal screen centrifuges. Horizontal spiral screen filtration centrifuges are mostly used for treating waste salts. In the salt recovery process, the feed temperature is generally high, which allows a large amount of corrosive moisture to enter the buffer area from the solid-liquid separation area and then proceed to the drive area, thereby reducing the lifespan of the central drive components and causing failures. Therefore, two additional liquid barriers were added in the separation area, raising the total from one to three, and the structure of these liquid barriers was improved to reduce the amount of gas and liquid that enters the buffer zone. The buffer spindle uses corrosion-resistant bushings and PTFE seals to completely isolate corrosive gases and liquids. The transmission area utilizes a combination of self-adjusting rigid wear-resistant seals and labyrinth seals to completely isolate the separation area from the transmission area. **It increases the service life of the equipment. Meanwhile, in order to reduce the wear on the screens and screws caused by the salt extraction process, we have subjected the wear-resistant components, including the screens and screw blades, to nitriding treatment. This increases the hardness of ordinary 316L stainless steel from less than HV90 to HV650–HV850, thereby extending the lifespan of the screens and screws by 3–5 times. Of course, we also want to save costs; that’s a great selling point. But we have always believed that providing customers with a satisfactory machine is the most important thing.
