The dead center clearance of reciprocating compressors never meets the required standards

Experts: I’ve encountered a problem recently – I simply can’t adjust the clearance between the front and rear dead centers of the reciprocating compressor. The clearance at both the top and bottom dead centers increased beyond the standard values at the same time, which is utterly puzzling. I would like to ask the experts what the reason is?
As long as it is within the range, that will do. Also, does your cylinder head require an adjustment of the gasket thickness in order to change the cylinder clearance? It may be necessary to increase the thickness of the shimming plate, for reference.
The adjusted top dead center clearance is greater than the specified standard clearance; if thicker shims are used, the top dead center clearance might become even larger.
It is also possible to adjust the pressure-applying element that connects the piston rod to the crosshead; for connections via flanges, gaskets are used at the flanges, while for connections using nuts, those 3 hex bolts can be adjusted
