How to design sprockets and chains?

Recently, the company asked me to design a wheat scraper conveyor. I’m a complete beginner; the foreign client only specified a chain speed of 0.6 m/s. The length from the wheat inlet to the outlet is 114.1 meters, the material layer height is 0.24 meters, and 60 tons of wheat need to be transported per hour. No information was provided regarding the motor or other components, so I have no idea where to start. Could someone tell me how to carry out these calculations? Also, do the sprockets need to be odd numbers that are mutually prime?
I remember seeing it in the Mechanical Design Handbook; worth giving it a try. Distance, speed, flow rate... that should be sufficient basically. For reference only.
