To meet the demands of **energy strategic security, Haomai has invested substantial resources in research and development for its compressor products. In 2022, it received 30 million yuan in funding from Shandong Province to address the key technical challenges related to large-scale, high-pressure, high-speed, and high-displacement reciprocating compressors. At 10 a.m. on March 17, 2024, the CHJ6 large-scale high-speed compression unit, independently developed by Haomai, successfully passed a 72-hour operational test at the Mabi No. 2 gas collection and compression station in the Qinshui Basin of Shanxi Province, filling the gap in the use of domestic large-scale reciprocating units in the coalbed methane sector! The Mabi project is a key project within the coalbed methane development plan, located in the Qinsui Basin in Shanxi, China, which has the greatest potential for commercial coalbed methane development. In April 2023, Haomai won the bid for two reciprocating compressor units for this project, with the CHJ6 unit being the first one delivered. In the future, it will be used at the Mabi No. 2 gas collection station for the pressurization and transportation of coalbed methane. The CHJ6 unit features a symmetrically balanced design, with an engine power of 5700 kW, a piston force of 45 tons, and a rotational speed of up to 1000 r/min. Its successful operation will help increase the production capacity of the Mabi No. 2 gas collection station from 2 million cubic meters per day to 3.5 million cubic meters per day, thereby significantly boosting the output of coalbed methane in the Qinsui Basin and contributing to the improvement of the region’s energy structure, which is dominated by coal. Haomai focuses on customer needs and, taking into account the characteristics of coalbed methane, carries out targeted product research and development and manufacturing. In terms of design, a compact structure with large rods is employed, along with dual-regulation valve control and an inverter-driven regulation system for large-scale units. Additionally, taking into account the fact that coalbed methane contains coal dust, the hardness of the cylinders has been increased, and the materials and structure of the piston rings have been optimized ; In terms of logical control, customer requirements are fully taken into account; appropriate alarm points and corresponding control logic are established to ensure that the compressor can operate stably in complex environments ; In terms of safety, a dual-regulation system and power supply redundancy modules have been employed, thereby **improving** safety and reliability ; In terms of production, leveraging Haomai’s strong casting, machining, and welding capabilities, full visibility and control over the entire process are achieved, ensuring high stability in product quality.
