Recently, this system, developed by Maoming Petrochemical in collaboration with the China Academy of Machinery Science and Technology, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and the Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Technology, was approved by the group company. This application is the first intelligent system in China’s petrochemical industry dedicated to the condition monitoring and fault prediction of extruders. It focuses on the whole-life cycle health management of these key mechanical devices in the petrochemical sector, marking a significant step forward for China’s petrochemical industry in terms of the intelligent operation and maintenance of major equipment as well as the integration of industrial Internet technologies.
