Are there any equipment manufacturers?
What is this structure? Is it a piped jacket?
This post was last edited by wanlirn on 2017-1-18 at 18:10. Cut the pipe in half; our factory requires the use of quick welding methods. Workers are lazy and use water welding, cutting it and grinding it before welding it
There’s no need to do this; direct edge welding is sufficient, as long as the maximum diameter is DN20
It is used to vent the air inside at the upper part of the heat exchanger. When liquid is introduced into the shell side, it compresses the air inside; once equilibrium is reached with the pressure of the medium, an air pocket forms at the upper part, preventing the medium from filling the shell side and thus affecting the heat exchange efficiency. Therefore, this air needs to be removed
This is the exhaust pipe on the shell side of the heat exchanger; it wasn’t welded properly
The exhaust port on the shell side of the heat exchanger and the sewage discharge port on the shell side have the same structure. You’ll understand if you look at the standards and structure manual.
