Equipment management is an important task for enterprises, playing a crucial role in their operation and maintenance. This report aims to summarize the equipment management work over the past year, review the highlights and shortcomings in this work, and provide useful experiences and recommendations for future equipment management. Work Review 1. Work Activities Over the past year, we mainly carried out the following tasks: 1) Equipment acquisition and renewal: In line with the needs of the company’s production development, we purchased a batch of new equipment and upgraded as well as repaired older equipment to ensure its proper operation. 2) Equipment use and maintenance: We have established detailed guidelines for equipment use to ensure that employees operate the equipment correctly, thereby preventing damage to the equipment and safety incidents. At the same time, we carry out regular equipment maintenance to promptly resolve any malfunctions and extend the equipment’s service life. 3) Equipment insurance and warranty: To reduce the costs associated with equipment failures and damages, we have purchased appropriate equipment insurance and promptly requested warranties from the suppliers. In this way, corporate economic losses can be effectively reduced. 4) Equipment register management: We have established an equipment register to systematically manage the basic information of all the company’s equipment, including the model, purchase date, and usage status, thereby enabling easy access to this information at any time. 5) Equipment renewal and retirement: Based on the service life of the equipment and functional requirements, we promptly renew or retire it to ensure that the company always uses the most suitable and advanced equipment. 2. Key achievements In equipment management over the past year, we have achieved the following highlights: 1) Strengthening standardized management: Detailed guidelines for equipment use were established, and staff were trained to enhance their safety awareness and skill level in operating equipment, thereby reducing the incidence of equipment failures and accidents. 2) Establish an equipment maintenance team: A professional equipment maintenance team was formed to promptly address equipment malfunctions and carry out repairs. This has reduced equipment downtime and increased the overall operational efficiency of the equipment. 3) Regular equipment maintenance: A detailed equipment maintenance plan has been established to ensure that the equipment is maintained and inspected on a regular basis, thereby increasing its service life and stability. 4) Rational equipment renewal: Based on the service life of the equipment and functional requirements, old equipment is updated in a timely manner, ensuring that the enterprise always has efficient and advanced equipment, which enhances its production efficiency and competitiveness. Problem analysis: 1. Inadequate archive management: In the management of equipment records, we found that some equipment files were incomplete, lacking detailed records of equipment maintenance and repair, which poses difficulties for equipment management tasks. 2. Insufficient preventive maintenance: Although we have established equipment maintenance plans, in practice it has been found that repairs are carried out only when problems arise with the equipment, rather than through timely preventive maintenance, which increases the risk of equipment failures and accidents. 3. The equipment renewal plan lacks scientific rigor: Equipment renewal is a crucial task; however, when formulating such plans, we lack scientific basis and comprehensive considerations. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the decision-making and planning processes related to equipment renewal. Improvement measures: In response to the above issues, we have formulated the following improvement measures: 1. Improve archive management: Establish a comprehensive system for managing equipment archives, keep records of the maintenance and repair work carried out on the equipment, set corresponding standards for maintenance and repair, and enhance the accuracy and completeness of archive management. 2. Strengthen preventive maintenance: It is necessary not only to carry out routine equipment maintenance as planned, but also to emphasize preventive maintenance by performing repairs and adjustments promptly while the equipment is operating normally, in order to avoid equipment failures. 3. Scientifically formulate equipment renewal plans: When formulating equipment renewal plans, factors such as the equipment’s service life, functional requirements, and economic benefits should be fully considered to make informed decisions, ensuring that equipment renewal is timely and reasonable. 4. Strengthen employee training: Provide regular training for employees on the use and operation of equipment, thereby enhancing their awareness of equipment management and their operational skills, and reducing the occurrence of equipment failures and accidents. Summary and Outlook: In equipment management over the past year, we have achieved certain results, but we have also faced some problems and challenges. Through summary and analysis, we identified these issues and proposed corresponding improvement measures. In the future, we will continue to strengthen equipment management efforts to improve the efficiency and safety of equipment use, thereby providing strong support for the development of the company.
