Is there a limit on the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the MVR Roots steam compressor? What are the consequences of exceeding the limit? How is the pressure difference for import and export controlled and adjusted?
There are limitations, which generally depend on the size of the motor. Under normal circumstances, if the motor is large enough, the pressure difference can reach around 80 kPa. For adjustment, a return pipe can be used to connect the exhaust pipeline with the intake pipeline, and regulation is achieved through valves.
