Why do wire mesh demisters only come with a lower mounting part for sizes larger than DN700?

For example, in the case of a horizontal tank with an outlet at the top, it’s more convenient to have it installed at the bottom. So, how should the size of the opening for DN100 be chosen? Can’t it be made as lower-body wear with a smaller diameter?
Whether it should be an upper component or a lower component depends mainly on the structure of the equipment and its installation location. For wire mesh demisters, considerations such as ease of installation and maintenance/replacement are important, and the decision is made based on the specific characteristics of the equipment.
People smaller than DN700 cannot load or unload inside; as long as the horizontal tank provides sufficient operating space for people, a bottom-loading type can be used.
As for the specific structural forms of the upper and lower garments, they are designed by the designer.
