This weld standard indeed does not specify anything in detail; since no specific requirements are given, whatever method is used will still meet the standards. But it seems there is also an experienced perspective suggesting that the weld position is around 1:2.
Try to avoid overlapping of welds at openings.

Based on engineering practice, when manufacturing heads, we always try to make use of as large a single sheet as possible; therefore, for ordinary heads, only one small sheet needs to be added, and the resulting welds are not very long.
