Hello, colleagues. Our company produces solid particle products through reaction and precipitation from acidic materials, but we are facing difficulties in selecting the appropriate separation equipment. Since washing is required after filtration, an integrated filtration and washing machine was chosen, namely the so-called three-in-one machine. However, in practice the filtration speed is slow; it takes 4–6 hours to filter one batch of material, and after adding water for washing three times, it takes roughly 24 hours to process one batch. Does anyone have any better filtration or washing equipment to recommend? There are two factors: one is that the material is acidic, so corrosion protection needs to be taken into account; the other is that filtration and washing should be carried out within the same machine. Thank you!

Careful consideration should be given to the choice of filter; what works well in other contexts may not be suitable for your situation. First, try to clarify your feed conditions, as this will help filter technicians determine the most appropriate model. Factors such as material flow rate/temperature, viscosity, solid content, particle size distribution, and required filtration precision are all important. It’s advisable to have the manufacturer conduct filtration tests to assess performance, and they can also assist with particle size analysis if necessary. If it’s convenient for you, you can list your feed conditions; I’m familiar with some filter manufacturers both domestically and internationally, and I can try to offer you some suggestions. Of course, the final decision will still rest with you ; You can send me a private message if needed
This depends on the characteristics of the material; it’s best to conduct experiments, as relying on speculation is ineffective
There are no machines this good. . . .

Check if the flat plate filter can meet your requirements
First, what is the particle size range of the solid particle product? Secondly, what are the flow rate, temperature, and viscosity of your liquid? Our company is capable of filtering and washing solid particles under acidic conditions, with low water consumption for washing. During the filtration and washing process, it is ensured that no solid particles escape; the SS level in the filtered water is less than 20 ppm. It is correct to choose the two-in-one (filtration and washing) method based on your processing requirements, but whether the properties of your material are suitable for this method needs to be determined through experiments. It is abnormal to require 24 hours for filtering a batch of material; consider factors such as filtration accuracy, pressure, viscosity, kinematic viscosity, and particle size distribution. A pressure filter can be used; it features intelligent operation, a high degree of automation, large processing capacity, low moisture content in the filter cake, sealed operation of the equipment, and a clean working environment. Filtering area: 2–120 square meters. A pressure filter is an advanced positive-pressure filtration device for solid-liquid separation, with a filtration pressure difference that can exceed 1.0 MPa. A pressure filter is a type of disk filter that is placed within a sealed, pressurized chamber. A pressure difference is created on the filter disks by means of a distribution valve and a vapor-water separator connected to the atmosphere; under the pressure in this chamber, the liquid in the tank is discharged from it through the filter medium immersed in the suspension, via the filtrate pipeline ; The solid particles are collected on the filter disk to form a filter cake; as the filter disk rotates, the filter cake passes through the drying zone to lose water, and then falls from the filter disk into the storage equipment in the cake discharge zone ; At the bottom of the pressurized chamber, a sealed discharge device is installed; the filter cake is conveyed to this sealed discharge device via conveying equipment inside the chamber, from where it is discharged out of the pressurized chamber. Through this process of continuous filtration and intermittent discharge, solid-liquid separation is achieved, with the entire procedure being automated by an intelligent electrical control system. Main components of the pressure filter: The main body of the pressure filter consists of a disc filter, a pressure chamber, a discharge device, a hydraulic system, and an electrical control system. The drum external filtration press can increase the filtration pressure difference while simultaneously washing the filter cake.
