Solution treatment of large-scale double-phase steel heads

There are two double-phase steel end caps of type EHA4200X20, and they require solution treatment after being formed. Are there any manufacturers of end caps with good performance in this regard? Can the quality of solution treatment for such large end caps be effectively controlled?
It’s a dilemma as to whether to perform overall cold forming or hot forming followed by solution treatment, due to concerns about whether quality control can be ensured.
This post was last edited by shinaijian on 2017-4-11 at 16:18. It being so large and thick must mean it was formed by heat forming; after all, it is precisely because of heat forming that solution treatment is necessary. In the case of cold forming, the degree of deformation should not exceed 15%.
Yes, when considering hot forming, the concern is whether the quality of the solid solution after hot forming can meet the requirements
This should be fine, right? . . Anyway, our company has one of those solid solutions, around 30 I think. . . .
I’m worried that if the diameter is too large, the treatment effect will not be good.
