I am currently welding solid stainless steel bars with a diameter of 14, and it is necessary to specify the technical requirements in the drawings. I’m not sure how to express these requirements. For example, what are the technical requirements for the equipment used for welding stainless steel and carbon steel, as well as for the scaffolding and pipelines? Where can I find this information? As for requirements related to welds, surface flatness, welding methods, cleanliness of the welded surfaces, and flaw detection, etc., in which standards should I look for such information? To what extent should welding be carried out, how high should the weld beads be, is PT testing required, and are there any cracks or other surface defects visible to the naked eye that are not allowed?
