Instead of using a short pipe, the pneumatic valve and the manual valve are connected directly to each other – is this type of connection acceptable?

There should be a hose between the pneumatic valve and the control valve, and there should be a bracket behind the pneumatic valve; assembling the pipes in this way is rather awkward

This type of connection is generally not recommended. Sometimes the flanges of the two valves are not necessarily matched, especially the sealing surfaces.
