Since a quote is required for production, it’s necessary to know the current prices of steel plates. I’m the only person in my department handling everything on my own; could any experienced colleague advise me on where to find this information?
It seems that for finished steel products, there isn’t yet such real-time pricing as you mentioned.
There are many; here’s one from Zhonggang Network: http://www.baojia.steelcn.cn/
Gangwei Wang is an online hub for domestic steel products; it is a **model e-commerce platform that offers the largest professional e-commerce platform for steel products in China, covering topics such as steel, metal bars, steel pipes, steel prices, metal prices, as well as market trends related to steel and metals.
It does not exist. Does this thing even have a fixed price?
What is shown online is not the real-time price; it’s either the futures price or the spot price in Shanghai. There are differences between different regions. The price at the factory is 4200, but it may not be 4200 when the goods arrive in your area, so that figure isn’t accurate. The best approach is to contact local traders; there are usually steel markets there. Get some business cards. If you really don’t have the time, then you’ll have to go with bulk purchases
Find a supplier. . . I can’t just tell you this price arbitrarily. .
There are no publicly available real-time prices for steel, especially that used for containers, available online. Since steel prices vary by region, the most reliable way is to get quotes from local dealers or to consult the agents of the steel mills.
