When designing vertical pressure vessels, if standard vertical supports are used, is it not necessary to perform calculations using the SW6 software?; Can no further calculation using software be required for the nozzles that meet the requirements of Section 6.1.3 of GB150?
Does the SW6 software have support for bearing calculations?
The ear seats are selected in accordance with standards; it is necessary to verify the bending moment at the cylinder connections, and the specific calculation procedures are provided in the appendix
Calculations shall be carried out in accordance with the appendix for corresponding supports in JB/T4712; there is no calculation method provided in SW6. If all conditions for taking over without additional reinforcement are met, no further calculation is required

Can the nozzles specified in Section 6.1.3 of GB150 also be evaluated without using software? If the pressure is high and the outer diameter of the pipe fitting is large, it is recommended that you do some calculations first. Non-perforated reinforcement effectively avoids non-radial openings. It has happened a few times to me; the conditions for no reinforcement are met, but it doesn’t qualify under SW6, and in such cases reinforcement is still required (this is mentioned in the answers to GB150 questions) ; Moreover, GB150 and the relevant specification documents clarify that SW6 is merely a tool for auxiliary calculations; the final decision remains with the designer.
That’s what’s mentioned on the 6th floor. Article 6.1.3 does not specify a temperature; therefore, we use SW6 for our calculations, though sometimes additional reinforcement is indeed necessary
