Issues related to the utilization of waste heat from boilers

I want to make use of the waste heat from the boiler; the steam temperature is around 180 degrees. To achieve this, I’m considering installing a plate heat exchanger to heat the soft water to around 130 degrees before sending it back to the boiler. Is this feasible? Has anyone done this before? I appreciate your advice!
Sure. One just needs to consider the operating conditions of the feed water pump.
