The equipment inspection and rating process must be carried out regularly; the workshop conducts such inspections on a monthly basis, with the deputy head of the workshop’s equipment department organizing relevant personnel to carefully inspect and rate all production equipment in accordance with the established criteria. 1 The results of equipment inspection ratings should be recorded in the equipment technical file. 2 The Equipment Department and the Power Department conduct random inspections on the inspection and rating results of each workshop on a monthly basis. 3 For equipment defects identified during equipment inspection and rating, the workshop should promptly organize their elimination; those that cannot be eliminated immediately should be included in the equipment maintenance plan. In cases where the defects are severe enough to affect safe production, emergency measures must be taken, and reports should be submitted promptly so that the relevant departments can handle the situation. 4 Equipment grade assessment is divided into good equipment and poor equipment. All components are complete and in good condition, with quality meeting the requirements ; a) The spare parts of the main and auxiliary equipment are complete, and their quality meets the requirements ; b) Instruments, meters, signal interlocks, and various safety devices, as well as automatic control devices, are all complete, sensitive, and accurate ; c) The foundation and base are stable and reliable; the anchor bolts and all bolt connections are firm, neat, and meet the technical requirements ; d) Piping, fittings, valves, supports, etc. are installed properly, firmly and completely, with clear markings that meet the requirements. e) The anti-corrosion, insulation, and anti-freezing facilities are complete and effective, meeting the requirements. 2. The equipment is operating normally, with good performance, and achieves the output specified on the nameplate or the rated capacity ; a) The equipment is properly lubricated; the lubrication system is unobstructed; the oil quality meets requirements. The principles of “five fixed points and three-stage filtration” are implemented” ; b) No abnormal phenomena such as vibration, looseness, or noise ; c) Operating parameters such as temperature, pressure, speed, flow rate, and current in each section meet the requirements of the regulations ; d) The production capacity reaches the rated output or the determined capacity. 3. The technical documents are complete and accurate. a) The equipment’s operating time and cumulative operating time are statistically tracked and recorded. b) Complete equipment records, maintenance, and inspection records available ; c) There are drawings for the vulnerable parts of the equipment ; d) The equipment and the surrounding area are tidy and clean, with no leaks or spills.
The equipment inspection rating system is a technical evaluation framework based on key factors such as equipment reliability, availability, and manufacturing quality. It continuously assesses various technical capabilities including equipment management, safety performance, and standardization characteristics, in order to ultimately determine the overall technical rating of the equipment. Generally, the equipment inspection rating system is divided into several levels: the highest rating, “A”, indicates that the equipment has been upgraded to achieve optimal performance according to the highest standards ; “A “B” rating indicates that the device has been upgraded to better performance ; “A “C” rating indicates that the device has normal performance ; “A D-grade rating indicates that the device does not achieve the expected performance ; “An “E” rating indicates that the equipment has serious performance issues. The ultimate goal of the equipment inspection rating system is to ensure the reliability, availability, accuracy, and quality of equipment, thereby guaranteeing its safety performance and meeting production requirements.
