bg4.png【Discussion Thread 23】How to deal with the issue of trapped air when welding butt flanges to pipes? Generally, lift lug gaskets, support gaskets, reinforcement rings, and lining structures all have exhaust holes or inspection holes provided. See the flat welding flange diagram:
For this application, use a flange with a neck directly.
The effect of butt welding flanges with a neck is the same as that of butt welding. Welded flanges with necks are expensive.
