Experts, please answer “as the title says”.
When only a safety valve is installed, its setting pressure is equal to the design pressure; when both a safety valve and a burst disc are used, the burst pressure of the burst disc is 1.05 times the design pressure. If the fire environment is taken into consideration, please refer to the provisions of GB150.1 for details.
Design pressure > Burst pressure > Safety valve
When both a safety valve and a burst disc are installed, the burst pressure of the burst disc is 1.05 times the design pressure. What is the pressure of that safety valve? Is it still the same as the design pressure?
The setting pressure of the safety valve is taken as the design pressure
How is the maximum allowable operating pressure determined?
If the maximum allowable operating pressure is not specified in the diagram, the design pressure is generally taken as the maximum allowable operating pressure. If it is necessary to calculate the maximum allowable operating pressure, use the calculation formulas for the head and the cylinder, and by considering the effective thickness of the selected material, it is possible to determine the maximum allowable operating pressure.

The opening pressure of the safety valve should be less than or equal to the design pressure, and must not be lower than the maximum operating pressure (determined by the production process)
