A horizontal equipment, Category 1, water collector, three saddles, fixed in the middle, two sliding sections, the distance between the middle support and the two ends is different, does it meet the standards?
It meets the standards, as long as the calculation passes
This post was last edited by SDHZZXM on 2017-8-29 10:53. The standards allow it, but the calculation is more complicated. Please refer to Chapter 18 of HG/T20582-2011: Design and calculation of multi-saddle horizontal vessels. in addition: Water collectors are generally not classified.
It doesn't matter if the spacing is different, as long as it meets the design requirements. The key is to ensure that the support of the three saddles is as balanced as possible after installation.
There is no rule that they must be equal, they all need to be calculated. The bottom should be as flat as possible to receive even force.
