May I ask, where is the magnetic float level gauge installed in the boiler drum? Is a temperature of 450 degrees suitable?
Magnetic flap switches are not suitable for use on boiler drum systems; their readings will definitely be inaccurate. I’ve never seen them used in this way. Boiler drums usually come equipped with dual-color indicators, electrical contacts, or balance vessels, and some also use glass tubes
It depends on whether your magnetic flip switch can withstand a temperature of 450 degrees; as far as I remember, there aren’t many products of this kind available.
