What should be the installation height of the combustible gas detectors in gas boilers? According to design standards, those that are lighter than air should be installed within 0.5 to 2 meters of the source of emission; some suggest installing them on the roof instead.
0.5-2 meters is about right; we’ll place it around this area. If the distance from the roof is too large, it will affect the testing
For gas boilers, I’m not sure if the detectors in our hydrogen compressor plant are installed on the roof
I’d like to check the installation requirements for toxic gases – which standard applies?
Sy6503‑2016 and GB50493‑2009 specify clear requirements for installations that are located 05m to 2m above the source of emission, as well as those installed on rooftops.
