B16.5 Flange PED Certification

I have two questions for the experts: 1) Can pressure vessels designed according to EN13445 use B16.5 flanges as per American standards? 2) For B16.5 flanges to obtain PED certification, is it sufficient for the material to be certified, without the certificate needing to indicate compliance with B16.5 requirements?
In my personal understanding, it’s sufficient to carry out material certification.
If you design in accordance with EN13445, the B16.5 flanges should be considered as non-standard flanges for calculation purposes. As for certification, the calculation documents are one aspect, while the materials represent another aspect.
A late reply. Flanges are not pressure-bearing accessories; they cannot be certified for CE on their own, and the CE mark is not allowed to be applied to them. It is sufficient to meet EN 10204 and the corresponding flange standards. The warranty certificate meets 2.2, 3.1, and 3.2 as long as it does.
