If a drive shaft enters the vacuum chamber, how can the wall thickness at this location be approximated?
If the support of the shaft is on the wall of the vacuum chamber, the load on the shafting must be taken into account; conventional design methods cannot determine the stability in this case, and stress analysis is required.
