The steel to be used is initially selected based on design criteria; is this selection made considering factors such as ambient temperature, design pressure, the medium carried, and volume? What aspect is mainly considered?
We mainly use 245, 345, 370, and 07 quite often

It mainly depends on the corrosivity of the medium (material), the design temperature (material, thickness), and the design pressure (thickness)
