·This procedure applies to pressure vessels defined in the Catalogue of Special Equipment and that meet the following conditions: · (1) The working pressure is greater than or equal to 0.1 MPa (Note 1-2); ·(2) The volume is greater than or equal to 0.03 m3, and the inner diameter (for non-circular cross-sections, it refers to the largest geometric dimension of the cross-sectional boundaries) is greater than or equal to 150 mm (Note 1-3) ; ·(3) The medium contained is a gas, a liquefied gas, or a liquid whose maximum operating temperature is higher than or equal to its standard boiling point (Note 1-4). ·Note 1-2: Working pressure refers to the maximum pressure (gauge pressure) that may be reached at the top of the pressure vessel under normal operating conditions. ·Notes 1-3: Volume refers to the geometric volume of a pressure vessel, calculated based on the dimensions specified in the design drawings (without considering manufacturing tolerances) and rounded off. Generally, the volume of the components permanently attached inside the pressure vessel needs to be deducted. ·Notes 1-4: When the medium inside the container is a liquid whose maximum operating temperature is below its standard boiling point, and if the volume of the gas phase space is 0.03 m3 or greater, it is also covered by the scope of these regulations. Definition ·1. Clarify that working pressure is not design pressure. ·2. For multi-chamber pressure vessels, it is sufficient that the working pressure of just one chamber is 0.1 MPa; in classification and management, they are classified according to the chamber with the highest pressure, while design and manufacturing are carried out based on the parameters of each chamber. ·3. The maximum geometric dimension is the diagonal for rectangles, and the major axis for ellipses. ·4. Requirements regarding the maximum geometric dimension have been added, specifying that it must be 150 MM or more; the requirement that PV be 2.5 Mpa·L or more has been removed, while a requirement that the volume be 0.03 m3 or more has been added.
