The annual inspection only revealed minor scaling, but when we opened the burner to inspect the furnace ourselves, we found cracks in the tube sheet along with obvious signs of water leakage. This is a central re-ignition structure, not a standard three-pass boiler. For boilers of 4 tons and above, a central backfire structure is not suitable, as the temperatures of the front furnace door and front tube sheet become too high. It leaked already after two years? Is the water quality normal usually? How is the water treated? This location is quite low; it cannot be seen from the boiler manhole

Generally, water quality issues are a common cause of tube sheet cracking; another frequent problem is the lack of expansion between the smoke tubes and the tube sheet~

With design and manufacturing, you won’t find any problems! The design has been approved by the special inspection agency, so there will be no problems. For manufacturing, the manufacturer will provide you with the qualified inspection documents! You’d better get an explanation from the boiler factory.
