Has anyone ever built a horizontal jacketed storage tank? Horizontal jacketed storage tanks of 150m3 and 400m3. If so, what is the support form?
What is a medium.......
As a regular horizontal container, isn’t this volume too large? Besides, it’s a jacketed vessel, which makes things difficult.
I don’t know what the medium is, nor the pressure, temperature, etc. . . . . . Manufacturing isn’t the issue; you need a qualified certificate to do this.
The medium is a flammable gas; the jacket is used to prevent corrosion, and nitrogen is used for leak detection.
The purpose of using a jacket is merely to prevent corrosion from the atmosphere – is this a bit much as a cost? Is any gas filled inside the jacket? How to prevent corrosion?
Fully jacketed? The support of the inner cylinder can be calculated as an inverted T-beam.
