Container specifications: φ9000×28×32000 (cylinder), skirt-mounted in a vertical position. Operating pressure: 0.4 MPa, operating temperature: 120°C, working medium: water and steam, volume: 2200 cubic units. Made on-site, what manufacturing process is used? I would appreciate some advice from fellow sailors.
At the manufacturing plant, the tube sections are prefabricated in segments, the head sections are pressed into shape in separate pieces and pre-assembled; once qualified, these segments are transported. On-site, the tube sections are erected and welded together, as well as the heads, and welding is carried out in segments based on the lifting capacity.
Like spherical tanks, it is divided into sections and pieces, which are transported to the site for assembly and welding
This type of equipment for on-site welding requires corresponding qualifications; it’s not something that ordinary container manufacturers can weld on-site
