During the development of the manufacturing process for the lugs, the following issue arose: the outer diameter of the SP3 lug backing plate is Φ100mm, and the width of the lug plate is also 100mm; as a result, there is no space for welding the lug to both the lug plate and the backing plate. The standard requires that the weld height between the gasket plate and the lug plate be not less than 0.8 times the thickness of the gasket plate. Is the standard size incorrect? Is it possible to appropriately reduce the outer diameter of the liner?
It’s basically like a tangent line; in theory, there’s no need for welding at those two points. You just need to weld the backing plate to the end, and it’s completely unnecessary to weld at the two edges
It’s not just the two points; the upper edge of the backing plate is completely level with the lug plate, while the lower part can be welded

The new version has been modified: the gasket plate is 100, and the width of the lug plate is 115.
