Issues related to off-spec pressure vessels

We’re back to the first question: do pressure vessels outside a class category count as pressure vessels? I checked GB150 yesterday; actually, I think it should be taken into account, only it’s not regulated by the major standards

1. Do off-site pressure vessels fall under the category of fixed pressure vessels? What regulations govern it? (It’s definitely not governed by the Large Vessel Code; is it GB150?) The fixed-volume code is applicable to fixed pressure vessels, and the classification system is also designed for such vessels. Since it is considered to be outside the specified category, it should still fall under the category of fixed pressure vessels. Vessels that are outside this category need to be assessed based on their specific conditions to determine whether they are governed by GB/T150 or by the standards for vessels operating at atmospheric pressure. 2. Is manufacturing inspection required for off-spec pressure vessels? Is a manufacturing inspection certificate required as part of the quality certification documents? Exterior containers do not require manufacturing inspection; of course, this does not apply to third-party inspections specified by the user. As for quality certification documents, no inspection certificate is needed either (such a certificate cannot be issued unless the inspection has been carried out by a designated inspection agency)

Agree with the comment above. A supervision and inspection certificate cannot be issued.

“Off-spec” is just a common term; when the pressure meets the requirements of GB150, it is manufactured in accordance with those standards, while if it is at normal pressure, it is manufactured according to the standards for pressure vessels at normal pressure

Extraclass items certainly cannot be classified under the major specifications, so there is no need for supervision or inspection, nor is it possible to carry out such supervision or inspection
