I would like to ask: if there is a false reading of a high liquid level in the drum of this boiler, and if a sudden increase in the steam output from the drum causes a sharp drop in pressure, leading to rapid boiling of the boiler water, then why does this boiling result in a higher liquid level? Here, the liquid level is measured by means of pressure difference, and the settings used in liquid level instruments take into account the density of water as a design parameter. When the density decreases, for the same displayed value of the liquid level indoors, the actual liquid level on site will be higher.
In practical operation, when this situation occurs, both the displayed liquid level inside the room and the actual liquid level on site are on the high side.
