There is a registered pressure vessel in our facility; later on, since it did not meet the process requirements, we purchased a larger one and placed it in the original equipment’s location, while the old equipment was moved to another place. What procedures are needed for this? Does it be necessary to cancel the previous registration certificate?
New ones need to be registered, require installation notifications; some also need to have monitoring systems installed before use registration can be processed. If old equipment is to continue being used, registration changes must be carried out
3.8.2.1 Relocation within the administrative jurisdiction of the registration authority: For special equipment that is relocated within the administrative jurisdiction of the registration authority, the user entity shall, prior to putting the equipment into use, submit the original registration certificate, a newly filled out registration form (in two copies), and the inspection report resulting from the relocation (in the case of disassembly and relocation) to the registration authority, in order to apply for a change of registration and obtain a new registration certificate. The registration authority shall make a cancellation mark on the original use registration certificate and the original use registration form.
