Dear experts: When the thickness of external pressure end caps (elliptical or disc-shaped) does not meet the requirements, it is considered to use reinforcement rings for strengthening. How should these rings be designed appropriately, and how should the calculation documents be prepared? Thank you!

Many big players are difficult to deal with, so beginners should not try to stand out. If you want to do it, do a good analysis and design; use limited analysis, haha.

If internal or external reinforcement rings are used for strengthening, SW6 can be calculated and a calculation report can be prepared; however, if reinforcement bars are used for strengthening, the calculation becomes somewhat more difficult. If the owner agrees to use reinforcement rings, then let’s use them.
