For external pressure calculations, why is no option to increase the shell thickness provided when the reinforcement calculation for SW6 openings fails? ?
To reinforce by adding openings, increasing the overall thickness of the shell is a very inefficient solution; therefore, the program does not recommend it. I think that’s the right approach, but if multiple pipe openings need to be reinforced, then the shell thickness indeed needs to be increased
If you have plenty of money, there’s no need to overthink it – just increase the wall thickness; it doesn’t matter whether it’s SW6 or not, as the computer management system won’t allow any issues in that regard.
Add thickness, move the weakest pipe holes further away, or use reinforcing rings
Well, I used thick-walled pipes; I just have this question. After all, when calculating openings for reinforcement under internal pressure conditions, if that approach fails, an option to increase the shell thickness is available

Thick-walled tubes won’t work, but thick-cylinder tubes can work; reducing the diameter of the opening can also help
