When calculating the equipment flange, should the corrosion allowance be deducted from the flange thickness when entering it?
The corrosion considered in flange calculations is radial corrosion, rather than that in the thickness direction.
The thickness specified in the flange standards has already been taken into account, so there’s no need to worry about that
Every time I perform the calculation, I enter the thickness after removing the thickness of the sealing surface.
